Teflonline.uk.com reserves the right to change any of the prices, service or other particulars contained on the website at any time.
Each course bought is related only to that person and cannot be transferred to anyone else.
All payments for our online courses must be made in full either by PayPal, debit/credit card, bank deposit or bank transfer. Once we receive payment you will be sent an email with confirmation details of the payment and instructions on how to activate your course.
Completing a Course, Validity and Certificate
You will have 90 days to activate your course and 12 months to complete it. On successful completion of the course you can print off your certificate, or request us to post one to you for an additional fee. If you fail to complete the course within 12 months, you can extend the course completion based on the fees below.
1 month extension – GBP 10 / EUR 14 / US-$ 16
3 month extension – GBP 20 / EUR 28 / US-$ 32
6 month extension – GBP 30 / EUR 42 / US-$ 48
To complete the course successfully and earn the certificate, you must successfully complete all the elements of the final test to the required standard.
Every endeavor is made to ensure that certificates reach the successful student via download from the platform, or by mail – we will make sure that a hard copy (if requested), will be sent out via mail within 7 days of receiving a request for one via email@example.com, however, we cannot be responsible for certificates that are not received due to postal or electronic issues (beyond our control). If you have not received your certificate, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
All students can request a hard copy of the certificate to be sent via Royal Mail for an administrative fee of 10 GBP / 14 EUR / 16 US-$ (within the European Union) or 15 GBP / 21 EUR / 24 US-$ (outside the European Union). If a student requires alternative postal arrangements, this can be done solely at the cost of the student.
Regardless, students may download their certificate for free at any time while their access to our platform is valid.
After completion of the course and certification, access to the student’s personal profile is valid for a further 2 years and can be extended afterwards for an annual fee of 10 GBP / 14 EUR / 16 US-$.
Failing a Course
Subscription to a course does not automatically entail its successful completion.
While your course is in progress, you can repeat any exercises, modules and tests. in addition to the final test as often as you wish. Once the course expires, if you do not extend it within 30 days this counts as a failure.
In case of excessive retakes of exercises and courses, we reserve the right to investigate the matter and to contact you to prevent misuse of materials or proscribed activities. In this respect, where justified suspicions exist (e.g. of a third party taking the course for you, plagiarism or prohibited copying or use of our content), we also reserve the right to request full disclosure from you as well as to access your camera or the microphone on your device to record your activities on our platform. You may also be held responsible for any damages arising from such behavior.
All non-native speakers should have a good command of the English Language in order to enrol on our courses. If you are unsure of your English Language level, please use our free online level test and you will receive your results via email. As a guide, we recommend that non-native speakers have a minimum of Cambridge level 4, CEFR level B2 or IELTS score of 6.5. We reserve the right to use your contact details to get touch with you and support you on the matter, and also to offer you, if needed, lessons and courses to help you to improve your language knowledge.
If during your course we feel that your level is not adequate for you to teach English, we will instruct you on your areas of weakness and might propose remedial lessons or courses and help you to improve your English ability so as to be able to complete the course successfully. While taking such lessons with us, your TEFL course will remain valid and you will not lose any of the remaining time on it.
Course Response Times
A trainer will respond within 5 working days to any of your academic queries or assignments. We can’t be held responsible if we fail to contact you within 5 days due to an incorrect or cancelled email address, or a change of telephone number.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
If for any reason you do not wish to continue with the course, and you notify us within 14 days of the date of purchase you will be entitled to a full refund. You will receive the refund within 14 days.
The right to cancellation & refund is lost if you have decided to go immediately to the final test, or if you have completed 2 module tests without previously completing all the exercises of the related module. Also, no certificate is issued for successful completion before these 14 days if the right to cancellation & refund is still valid. Course cancellations will only be accepted in writing or via e-mail.
No refunds are possible in situations where a student has failed the course.
Courses are not refunded by Teflonline.uk.com if they were purchased through a voucher deal company. For a refund, please contact your voucher deal company. If your voucher has expired, you still have 28 days to redeem it from the date of expiry. For all voucher deal purchases, you will receive the same course as if you purchased it at full price.
Teflonline.uk.com reserves the right to refuse admission, cancel your course or eject any student deemed to be behaving in an unacceptable manner without refund. We do not tolerate any form of antisocial or prohibited behavior, and will act upon any behavior reported to us or on discovering any inappropriate use of our platform.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with our service, please e-mail email@example.com describing the issue in as much detail as possible. Any such complaint should be submitted within 3 days of the problem first arising.
We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within a maximum of 7 working days and will aim to resolve the complaint within 30 days.
Data Protection Act 1988
In order to register and receive or use the services on our website, you will be required to submit some personal information, such as your name, your postcode and email address.
We have a legal duty to ensure that we keep your personal data safe and secure, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We will not share your personal information with anybody else without your knowledge, unless we are required by law to do so.
We may also contact you from time to time with information about other products and services that may be of interest to you. If you would like to opt out of this service at any time, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or just opt out on your personal profile dashboard.
